OUR STORY
Being a passionate tabla player since childhood, I was anxious to know the making of tabla, the various woods and the metal shells used in the process. Not getting genuine quality products from tabla makers increased my frustration and curiosity further leading to the search of basic materials used for making shells, drumheads. After a lot of research and investment I finally decided to start Sohum Musicals which promises genuine products at reasonable prices to the customers across the globe without any middleman involved.
Sohum Musicals that initially began its journey selling only Tablas went ahead with making of all kind of indigenous handmade percussion drums like Pakhawaj, Dholak, Naal, Dhama, Kanjira, Dhol, Punjabi Nagada, etc. Over last 15 years of our work, we have aimed more on customer satisfaction and received overwhelming response from around the world.
As our journey continues, we have been collaborating with finest makers of other musical instruments such as Harmonium, Sitar, Tanpura, Santoor, etc. In the coming future we plan to use advanced equipments with fine craftsmanship that would enhance the quality of our end products.
